Tragic

When Pastor Sivin Kit shared his message during the wedding, he said he read a message on twitter posted up by someone, and it read ;

“We not only mourn the death of Michael Jackson,
but we also mourn the culture that destroyed him.”

I was never a big fan of Michael Jackson, but I can’t help but feel sad as I watch the documentaries and news of him being showed on television. The constant pressure he was put under as a result from the all the media and public scrutiny, I believe, contributed to his fall from grace, and even his death.

Michael Jackson once had all the fame and fortune others can only dream of having, but none of those could buy him true happiness, peace and joy. It is so sad to know that a man who had so much to offer (he had immense talent) lived such a troubled, tragic and lonely life. Sigh.
